Custom plugins, integrations and workflows include the agreed source, configuration notes and practical support instructions. Sensitive credentials are not embedded in code or handover documents.

Testing covers the user journey the agency has promised, including mobile and error states.

Sometimes the right answer is to avoid custom development, change the workflow or use an existing product. I flag that early rather than building an expensive feature that creates long-term support risk.

That protects both the agency margin and the client outcome.
